Mysore style ashtanga yoga teaching is a part of 200 hour yoga teacher training course curriculum at Tattvaa Yogashala, Rishikesh in India. This self-practice in group setting is observed by an instructor to assist the practitioners grow from where they actually are. Mysore style is the traditional style of ashtanga yoga practice. At our classes, Mysore style practice begins from the third week of 200 hour ashtanga yoga teacher training course.


From this stage, students begin to continue the asana practice at their own pace, level and capacity. Major attractions of our Mysore style Ashtanga yoga classes are - the presence of teacher available to offer individual support and the energy of group practice. Instructor present in this class understands the level of individual practitioner and assist with alignment and adjustment as well as guides for progress in asana practice. These classes help you develop a consistent home practice. This class is not for beginner ashtangis.
