Yogi Kamal Singh
Yogi Kamal Singh is known for his energetic and motivating Ashtanga classes at Tattvaa Yogashala, an inspired yoga hall overlooking the Ganges River in Rishikesh, India. A class with Kamal includes powerful adjustments which safely teach students the depths of each asana. Students come from all over the world to take his classes and commonly practice with him for one or more months at a time. The results are oftentimes profound, students have returned home with straighter backs and clearer minds. He is also a Senior Yoga Teacher Trainer, conducting teacher trainings and workshops internationally during the Indian off-season months.
Kamal is a native of Rishikesh, born and raised in the Yoga Capital of the World. Following the strict instructions from his Guru, he travelled the country for 5 years, studying with yoga masters all over India. He holds numerous yoga certificates from organizations such as Bihar School of Yoga, Sivananda, and Satananda Academies. He also earned a Masters Degree in Yoga Studies from Garhwal University.

Mr. Sunil Sharma
Mr. Sunil Sharma, trained in Traditional and Scientific Yoga from Kaivalyadhama, Lonavla (India), a Yoga Institute of International repute. He is Post Graduate in Psychology and has International Diploma in Guidance and Counseling from National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) New Delhi and has been teaching yoga at various levels in India and abroad since 2001.
Sunil has worked as Yoga Instructor in various Senior Secondary Schools under the scheme ‘Promotion of Yoga In Schools’ by Ministry of HRD Govt. of India and has worked as Director of Yoga Teachers Training Department in ‘Yoga Summit’, Hangzhou, China. He has delivered lectures on Yoga and Philosophy, conducted Pranayama and Meditation workshops, Yoga Therapy Sessions for employees of corporate houses and Yoga Teachers Training courses from Year 2006 to 2010, during his stay in China.
He has also worked as Yoga Instructor in Laxmibai National University of Physical Education, Gwalior, India and has conducted theory and practical classes for the students of Graduation and Diploma courses in Yoga. He has proved himself highly effective against stress and various mild psychological disorders. His way of treatment and training has unique personal touch. Sunil has written various articles on yoga for the health magazine Niramaya Jivan. He has profound Interest in teaching philosophical and psychological aspects of Yoga. His areas of specialization are Asana, pranayama Meditation and Yogic Counseling.
Prof. G.S. Sahay
Prof. G.S. Sahay, M.A.(Sanskrit Gold Medalist), born on 2nd July 1951, joined the World renowned Yoga Research Institute in the year 1976 and worked as Research Officer in Philosophico-Literary Department ,Kaivalyadhama (Lonavla) till his retirement in July 2011.
Prof. Sahay has around 34 years of Teaching experience to the post graduate students at G.S. college of Yoga and cultural synthesis Lonavla , and taught Indian philosophy, Patanjali Yoga sutras, and Traditional Yogic texts .He has also delivered lectures in different re-orientation programs organized for the teachers from the schools of Maharashtra and Central Govt. He has conducted various yoga camps and workshops on yoga in India as well as visited Seoul South Korea to conduct yoga courses.
Prof. Sahay is a member of Advisory board, Board of studies and distinguished visiting faculty to various Universities and Institutions in India and abroad. He has authored more than 35 Research papers published in Yoga Mimamsa as well as in Indian and foreign journals. He has attended various national and international conferences on yoga and allied subjects. He is also co-editor of 12 books on Yoga published by Yoga Mimamsa publications.
Prof. Sahay has been recognized as Eminent Yoga Expert for T.K.D.L. project, A joint project by CSIR, Ministry of Health, Department of AYUSH, Govt.of India and MDNIY. The TKDL Project is meant to digitalize the traditional knowledge well documented in Indian scriptures. Currently Prof. Sahay is working in the capacity of Head and Managing Editor of Yoga Mimamsa at Kaivalyadhama,
Prof. Sahay has devoted his entire life to study the literary aspect of Yoga and impart the teachings of Indian philosophy and traditional yoga to younger generation in a very simple and precise manner. He continues to inspire the students of Yoga through his writings and live lectures.
Swami Vishwarupananda Saraswati
Swamiji was born on 5th Dec 1968 at Odisha, India. From childhood he was practicing Yoga under the guidance of his Father. His father was the disciple of His Holiness Shri Swami Chidananda Saraswati. After his graduation he joined Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy at Divine life Society headquarter Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, India for complete knowledge of Yoga on the year of 1990.
After three months course of YVFA he was much interested to practice Yogic Saadhanaa. Then by the permission of his Guruji His Holiness Shri Swami Chidananda Saraswati he was started to live in Ashram and both teaching and practicing was going on. Always there was searching real path for realization in his mind. But there was many abstacles in the spiritual path. Really it was great fighting between positive and negative impressions of the mind. That time Gurudeva His Holiness Shri Swami Shivanandaji Maharaj books were very helpful. Many ancient scriptures was really very helpful.
Once there was a vision of Divine Mother. She had instructed me to practice bhakti yoga. In 1992 he mate a great Bhakti Guru at Sivananda Ashram Rishikesh. His name was Guru Debendra mohan Biswal. Many Divine vision happen by the blessing of Gurudeva Debendra mohan Biswalji.
His holiness Shri Swami Chidananda Saraswatiji Maharaj has given sannyaasa diksha on a suspicious day of Shivaratri in 2001. His sannyaasa name was swami Viswarupanand saraswati.
He learns the ancient philosophy from many saints and sages. He also experienced the meditation of Lord Buddha from S.N. Goenkaji. Deepak ji has been practicing and working alongside Yogi Kamal Singh after beginning his yoga practice in his teens. He obtained a postgraduate diploma in Yoga, Health and Science from Dev Sakskruti University, and has gained a wealth of experience in teaching and adjusting under the careful guidance of Yogi Kamal Singh.
Deepak has a calm, sure approach and intuitive adjustments. He remembers where each of his students needs attention in their asana practice, building upon his adjustments day by day, resulting in natural progression and a deep understanding of how the body works. By helping students to understand how to work with their own bodies, Deepak ensures that their progress will continue long after they have left Rishikesh.
Acharya Ram Prasad Ji
Acharya Ram Prasad was born in an orthodox Brahmin family in Himalayan region. He has been awarded as Acharya in Sanskrit and Indian philosophy
He had done post graduation in Sanskrit from Sampuranand University, Varanasi in 2006.
He had studied such as Vedanta and yoga philosophy from Swami Dayananda Saraswati, along with the sadhana (practice of meditation)
He had also undergone meditation practices such as Vippassana, Prekshya, Sakshi meditation to name a few .
He had been lecturing on indian philosophy to national and international students as well as conducting Yoga, meditation in Yoga Niketan Ashram, Rishikesh since 2008 till 2015. He also had been an editor and writer for the bi-monthly Yoga magazine.
His in-depth knowledge and calm and composed personality make him to be highly appreciated by his national and international students.
Born and raised in Rishikesh, Priya is a 23 years old vibrant, powerful young lady studying the art of Ashtanga. If you have ever had the privilege of being in her class you will understand this pocket rocket means business. She has been with Tattvaa Yogashala for 5 years, practicing and teaching under the guidance of Yogi Kamal Singh and Yogi Sunil Sharma with dedication throughout.
