Ashtanga Vinyasa Primary Series
Ashtanga Vinyasa classes feature the guidance of an instructor through the primary sequence of yoga poses (asanas) which was developed by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This challenging, vigorous practice focuses on the synchronization of breath with the continuous flow of movement. Participants move through a series of asanas, jumping from one posture to another building heat, endurance, flexibility, strength and mental focus. Under the supervision of the Sr. Teacher Trainer Kamal Singh, adjustments are offered to accelerate the mastery of the practice. Students new to Ashtanga yoga are encouraged to take the 7 day Ashtanga Intensive Course.
